On behalf of the Board of Directors of Lexington Golf & Country Club, we welcome you to the inaugural  Lexington Invitational.  We are extremely excited to be hosting this event, and are deeply grateful that you are joining us as we remember our club’s heritage, honor those who were the cornerstones of our club, cherish our founding members, and celebrate Taylor Woody’s 90th Birthday!

This annual event will serve to help us preserve the history of Lexington Golf & Country Club, celebrate our heritage, remember the contributions by our members to the community and raise funds for projects that will benefit the current and future members of our club.

The Invitational kicks off with a 1pm Shotgun Start featuring a Shamble format with each team being assisted by Sean ‘The Beast’ Fister hitting a drive on #18.  Immediately after golf, we invite you to join us at the cocktail reception and dinner.  We will have a short presentation to remember our heritage, and Sean Fister will be the keynote speaker.  Those who cannot play golf are welcome to attend the cocktail reception, dinner, auction and cocktail party.

We are asking those of you who have memories and memorabilia from the early days to share those with us so we may memorialize them.  Contact the club directly, or reach out to a member of the committee if you have items or memories you can share with the Club.

Thank you again for being a part of what we are sure will become a lasting tradition for Lexington Golf and Country Club.  This will be an annual event, and we are hopeful that you will participate with us for years to come, and help us leave a legacy for future generations.

Warmest Regards,
The Lexington Invitational Committee
