Golf Changes Due to Covid-19

We appreciate the opportunity to give our members and guests an outlet to get fresh air and exercise in a safe environment. We pride ourselves in providing a safe environment for the enjoyment of the game of golf, and we have opened with some very important changes designed to ensure everyone's safety.

Please review these Frequently Asked Questions before coming to the course.

Can we take a cart?
We are allowing walking and single rider carts (members of the same household may share a cart).

Can I walk up and play?
We ask that all tee times be booked ahead of time. If you don’t have a tee time booked, you may not be allowed to play.

How can I book a tee time?
For our members - please book your rounds via the booking engine. You may also call the Golf Shop to book, but we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes.
For our outside players - you may call the Golf Shop at 540.463.4141 within one week of your desired tee time to inquire about any remaining open inventory.

What should I know when I go play?
Please arrive 20 minutes early to avoid creating any large groups. Once at the course you may go to the outdoor check-in station located to the left of the building down the walkway. There you may pay for your round and purchase any merchandise you may need. Food and beverages are available on the grill's patio underneath the golf shop. Alcohol will be available for purchase from the golf course, but you are not allowed to bring your own per the State’s liquor licensing laws. After you have checked-in the starter will help you begin your round.

What has been done to limit grouping and touch points?

  • Social Distancing is practiced in all areas of our facility and should be practiced on the golf course as well. Do not share clubs and golf equipment with your playing partners or congregate with them in the parking lot before or after your round.
  • The course has been set up to limit touch points by removing; bunker rakes, sand bottles, water coolers, ball washers, etc. The cups have been set up to stop the balls from going entirely into the hole for touchless retrieval.
  • The clubhouse is open with limited to capacity inside at a time – this includes use of the restrooms, and any purchases from the grill. The Golf Shop is currently open with limited capacity.
  • Face masks are required when inside the clubhouse, and you must follow all posted signage and staff directions.

Are the driving range and putting green open?
The driving range is open for regular practice. All driving range stalls are set at least 6 feet apart and the den caddies are laid on their side so you can retrieve balls using your golf clubs. The putting green and short game area are open for warm up only as well. Please keep 6 feet of space from anyone else warming up.

What about leagues, outings and events?
All league dates and times have been adjusted accordingly. If you have questions, please reach out to your league coordinator as we will continue to keep them informed. All our in-house tournaments and golf outings have been suspended. We are hoping to resume socially distant tournament play soon.
